He was living near Elisha Carroll and Sarah Brown Carroll that came to Georgia between 1820 and 1830. They are listed in the Wilkinson County (adjacent to Twiggs County), Georgia census in 1830. Two (2) Carrolls, Nedham and William B. Carroll, are living nearby and meet the age brackets for male children of Elisha. There is no will or other data to determine that they are his children at this point. It is possible that he returned to Noth Carolina, as per the previous posts; however, there is no proof of this, to my knowledge.
