Carroll, 96, of 636 West Road, died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002, in his home. Mr. Carroll was a Navy veteran, a retired farmer and a carpenter. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Turkey Baptist Church by the Revs. Mack Musselwhite and Tony Moore. Burial will be in Turkey Cemetery. Mr. Carroll is survived by his wife, Estelle M. Carroll; a daughter, Margie C. Harper of Raleigh; three sons, O.N. Carroll Jr. and Henry G. Carroll, both of Turkey, and Charles B. Carroll of the home; a sister, Myrtie C. Register of Lenoir; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.       May your troubles  be less, may your blessings  be more, and may nothing, but happiness come through your door
