Hello everyone- My name is Lesley Murphy, and I hope that someone might have information that will break down the stubborn brick wall of my Carroll grandmother's ancestry. My grandmother Julia Carroll was born in the 1880's in England. Her father, Michael Carroll was an official of the London Post Office, but was believed to have been born and raised in Ireland. My grandmother's death certificate lists her mother's maiden name as "Julia Fleming". My grandmother had two brothers, Dan and Francis. And beyond this, we know nothing else. I am especially interested since I was born after my grandmother died, so I couldn't find this information for myself. And because I look exactly like her!
