I am seeking information on the children of Hercules CARROLL and Mary Tate JONES, s/o Hercules CARROLL (b, 1735). The elder Hercules was the son of Daniel CARROLL, who came to America from Northern Ireland in 1730. The family was of Scottish descent. Daniel and family setlled in VA, and eventually moved to Morristown, NJ, near present day Dover. Daniel's children were: Hercules b. 1735, m. Sarah Wheeler Hercules m. Mary Tate Jones Margaret m. William Ferguson ( my line) And-- 14 other children Thomas Elizabeth Richey John Daniel, m. Jane Clutter James Mary, m.
