My line of Carroll is out of Buncombe N.C. my 4 great grand father ( william Carroll) b:1797. They then moved to Gilmer co. Georgia (Ellijay) and they started drifting to Alabama. I have a 3-4 cousin in Marble Falls, Texas.So they may be some conections there. Hope this helps.
