Children in Will:son John CARROLL, daughter Rebecca Britnel,daughter Martha Jones, grandson James Bates, granddaughter Martha Beckum, granddaughter Mary Kemp(daughter of Joseph Bates and Sarah Bates deceased), grandson Joseph Bates, granddaughter Josephine Eugenia Bates.She left all her land, tenements, etc. in Richland District, South Carolina to James Bates and Martha R. Beckum. The land description: as lying between Toms Creek and Chessnut Branch, and joined by the land of Green Reeves, John Fox, and John Barnett. Executors were Joseph B. Shows that son Henry Fox died in Craven, Richland Co, South Carolina 1770. Shows a William Fox, date and place of birth and death not shown. Can't attest to accuracy of information, but the file says that Henry and Mary's daughter Unity Fox married John CARROLL and that they had a son Jacob CARROLL born about 1728 in Brunswick County, Virginia.
