He may have gone to Trinity College 1833-34. About 1838 he married Mary Robinson (1817-1869) Children: James abt. 1841, John Joseph b1842 Wales, William b1847 Wales, Thomas b1849 New York City, Michael b1852 New York City, Catherine. In 1871 he married Mary Ann Murray in Brooklyn, NY. Children were all born in New York City. James John (1873-1934), Mary Sarah (1874-1875), Sarah Ann (1876-1876), Edward Francis (1877-1955), Catherine Agnes (1880-1916).
