I am looking for the parents of Noland Carter Carroll, born Jan. 1, 1816 in VA & died about 1869 in Owsley Co, KY (now Wolfe Co., Campton KY). He married Danister (Drucilla) Booth abt 1840 in VA. She was the daughter of Willilam Booth & Sarah Taylor. She was born Jan 5, 1820 in VA & died abt 1859 in Owsley Co, KY. His son, John F. Carroll, married a Carroll (first name unknown) who was the daughter of Kenneth Carroll who descended from Andrew Jackson Carroll. Spencer, b. 11/17/1847 VA; d 3/18/1926 Wolfe Co., KY. Their children were: James Marion - b. 1865 KY; d. 1905 William Zion - b. 9/15/1867 KY; d. 12/11/1960 OH Henry Preston - b. 1/9/1870 KY; d. 8/29/1951 Nancy C. - b. 173 KY; d. ? Thomas Jackson (my ggrandfather) b. 11/8/1878 KY; d. 5/15/1966 Edward b.1885; d. ? Mary F. b. 1889; d. ? Thomas Jackson Carroll married Sarah Alice Wyatt, daughter of Noah Wyatt and Nancy Elkins. She was born 4/3/1885 in KY and died 3/16/1959 in Lizton IN. Their children were: Bessie Mae (my grandmother) b. 1/11/1903; d. 6/4/1989 married Gurney Joseph Swain, son of Nathan Patterson Swain & Elizabeth Bush. Henry Preston - b. 4/28/1904; d. 12/28/1977.
