There was a Peter Carrell and wife, Mary, who were in Franklin County in the late 1780's. They lived near the Baker family that George married into and Peter was on land records with Elias Baker. The only other clue I have is that George and his wife Ann named their first 4 children the same names as their parents, Peter, Mary, Elias, and Sarah. Does anyone know of this Carroll family?
