I am looking for information about William Carroll abt 1784-1870. He moved from Rockingham NC to McNairy Co. TN. Census records list him as being born in MD, DE and NC. I have a lot of information about descendants but very little about ancestors. He is believed to be the son of Henry Carroll who died in Rockingham Co. in 1832. Henry's will lists: Daughters: Sally Barber, Nancy Overby, Lany (?) M. Carroll Sons: William Carroll, Daniel Carroll, James Carroll, my wife's son Levin McCollister. Would appreciate any leads.
