Greetings all from Australia, I am new to this list and I would be most grateful for any information offered in my quest to find something about my Carroll ancestors. My g grandfather James Carroll, aged 20 years old in 1857 married Annie Anastasia Marsh in Sydney. On the marriage certificate details are: he was born in Dublin he names his parents as JOHN CARROLL and HONORA MORLEY. Would anyone be able to assist me with the date & place of John & Honora's marriage? Also any suggestions as to where I maybe able to search for James arrival date into Australia. I have not been able to find any record of James death in Australia...his daughter (my grandmother) & son were raised in an orphanage........they were there when their mother died in 1892, ages were 14 and 10 respectively.
