Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, born Aug 31, 1927 went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2002 at the VA hospital in Dallas, TX after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. Survived by dear wife of 39 years Sylvia. Children Fread & Marietta Carroll, Chris Carroll, Dallis Carroll, Bob & Glenda Hume, Jackie & Dayna Payne; 12 grandchildre; 14 great grandchildren;Borthers Charlie, Ted and Jerry. Sisters Velma, Ozella and Bessie. Precedede in death by daughters Stacey and Connie. He was a kind and gentle spirit and loved with all his heart. Visitation 6-8 pm Monday March 11.
