Just beginning to research a Carroll family whose family tradition is that they are related to Chas.Carroll, signer of the Constitution. I have: Charles P. Carroll, b. 25 Apr 1857 in Knobnoster, Johnson, Missouri who md. Mgt.Jane Jobe. He was a son of: William Carroll, b. abt 1794/97 in Tennessee. Married Delila Knee (or Kruse). Does anyone know if this family connections to the Constitution signer? Are there in biographies that I could check to see descendants? Any suggestions appreciated.
