Mr. Carrell served in the US Army and was a banker for Republic National Bank, retiring after more than 20 years of service. He was also a member of the Cathedral of Hope Church in Dallas, TX. He is survived by his life partner and soul mate of 39 years, Earl Perry of Melissa TX; brother Don Carrell of De Soto TX; and sister Dorothy Britton and husband James of Duncanville TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Frank Carrell and sister Jeneva Goldman. A memorial service will be held 2pm Saturday March 16, 2002 at the Cathedral of Hope, Dallas TX with Rev Irene Travis and Rev Mike Piazza officiating.
