As far as I know my CARROLL family came into the Mid-Atlantic and remained in the Southern states, so that would not be part of your interest. However I wonder if your database would include persons who came to New Amsterdam with the Dutch? Some of my husband's SOUTHARD family remained in NY and some came south. Do you include New Amsterdam/New York? Lura I wouldn't know about that wish i could find a chelsea carroll to be in the carroll dna that way we could tell if yours and mine are from the same line please use the dna project so when i find one we can see Jim Denning -Ygenealogist-MTgenealogist using Genetics to connect Chelsea,Ma.-Woburn,Ma.-denning-dennen-danin-dinan-dinihey-denningston-dinning- carlon-carroll-dever-cogan-malone-heslin-piscopo-mazzola-martini-farrell-mchug h-farley-grimes-lynch-doherty-SanDanto,Ita-Adargh,longford-Revere,Ma-Wintrop,M a.- and ever an growing list List owner of Irish-dna,Piscopo-l-Heslin-l,McHugh-l,Cogan-l-Machelsea-l,Ita-Frosinone-l,Mazzola-l-Duggan-l Project Manager of Chelsea Ma. With the exception of one of those men, we believe they all have ancestors who went through Sampson County, NC sometime around 1790. We don't yet know how most are related. One was born in SC in 1808, and no connection to the Sampson County group has been established for him yet. Three of these men are now having their profile extended to 66 alleles. Those results should be complete in about 3 weeks. We hope that might give us a better chance to establish the common ancestor. You have a rather complete family tree for your CARROLL family, don't you? Is there not one living cousin with the Carroll surname?
