The 1850 Hancock Co., GA, census shows this: Carroll, John D. 45 household #254 Emerline 40 Andrew J. 13 Sarah 12 Emily 4 Susan 1 I think it's likely that this is the same couple who married in Greene Co. in 1833. I also think it's likely that the Sarah here is my husband's gt.gt.grandmother, who married George Washington Denton in 1855 in Paulding Co., GA. I would love to be able to prove this family connection, but so far, no luck. I have some wonderful pictures of Sarah, but all of them are after she is on up in years.
