Their father was Nathaniel II was married to Priscilla Downing whose father, Mackum (Malcolm) was in the Battle of Dunbar, captured by the English, and sent to the Colonies to work at the Saugus Iron Works in Lynn, MA.According to my records, they had eight children: Mary, Hannah, Nathaniel, Samuel,Elizabeth, Johanna, John, and Daniel, all of whom were born in Salem, with the exception of Danel, who was born in Boxford, MA.
