I am from his daughter Lydia's line, from his 1st wife Rachel. The info I have on Michael is a report of his death, 4 Jan 1824, in the Raleigh,NC star and NC gazette. Lemuel Carroll was Admin. of his estate. possibly a bro. Lemuel's parents were James and Mary (Polly) Carroll. Michael married a 2nd time to Nancy Prichett in 1816. I know of no children. She sued Moses for a portion of Michael's estate. I have childhood memories of Uncle Ben and Aunt Mattie Lou. My grandmother and grandfather would carry me to thier house in Powder Springs. I was fond of Uncle Ben's famous tea cakes. I still attend the Carroll/Hogan reunion every year in August at Sandhill where they are buried. As you probably know, Moses Carroll is buried there also.
