We have no knowledge of previous marriages or children, but he did marry Sarah Sheridan Quinn b. KY (previously married to Michael Quinn) in Natchitoches, Louisiana (the oldest city in Louisiana) Sarah and William had 3 children: Eliza, Caroline Elizabeth and my GGGGrandfather Madison who is buried in Coushatta, Louisiana.
