    1. [CARROLL] Charles Negus CARROLL
    2. ALL Recently, on one of the CARROLL discussion lists, a Christi posted that she and her sister had found a Carroll book while cleaning out a storage unit. She wrote that the book contained a "Dolly" and was a gift to her from her father. She also mentioned the name of Charles Negus Carroll, who is my great-great grandfather. I'd be very interested in corresponding with the current owner of the book. Thanks. Doug Hunt <doughunt@mail.com> Clan O'Carroll http://carroll.cjb.net

    3. Seeking info on descendants of Sarah Jane White, who married a Carroll and moved from Clarke Co., MS to Florida (possibly Putnam Co.) in 1880's. Believed to have had at least one son, Tom Carroll. Sarah was sister to my grandfather, Thomas Deedie White. I have been searching for Sarah's descendants for nearly 25 years. You surely seem to know the Carrolls. I wonder if you may know of a Denis Joseph Carroll, born 1875 in Cty Mayo and came to Boston from Hamilton, Ontario to run Bostom Marathon (1900-1905? don't have confirmation yet) He brought his mother, Mary Byrnes Carroll and 2 sisters (one named Mary) to Boston. Married Margaret McNicholas Feb, 1908 and moved to Lexington. Had 8 kids, Thomas, Vincent, Margaret, Mary, Eileen, Catherine, Loretta and Bernardette. Thomas Carroll lived in Lowell, MA most of his life. I know it is a long shot, but if anything sound familiar, let me know. I would really like to find out about sister Mary CArroll. 2. CALVIN E PHILLIPS
    3. Seems like I've had an unusual amount of such problems recently. There are a couple of things everyone should keep in mind: 1. There is no such thing as "immaculate-subscription" to a surname List. If you are receiving distributions from a List, it is because you or someone with access to your machine subscribed you. 2. If you are changing ISP's or addresses, unsubscribe from all lists BEFORE you make the change and then resubscribe after the change. Cal Phillips, Listmgr/Admin. phillipscalvin@prodigy.net
