    3. Hi April, No, I don't know your John's parents, but I surely wish that I did! I am interested in the family, because John named one of his sons "Alexander." I have an Alexander who married Lucy RYAL/ROYAL on April 7, 1783 in Duplin County, NC. I have wondered for a long time if your John could have had a brother named Alexander, since names tended to run in families. Good luck, Lura PS - I like your e-mail name! ----- Original Message ----- From: <SoftSpokenWoman@aol.com> To: <CARROLL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, February 27, 2001 11:40 AM Subject: [CARROLL] John Carroll b 1751 in Northampton Co.,VA > I am hoping that someone knows the parents of John Carroll b 1751 in > Northampton and died in Moore Co,NC.He married Huldah Hunnicutt. They were the > parents of ... > Susannah m Francis Myrick > Alexander > Jesse > Polly > Sterling > Charlotte > Huldah > James B. > John > Any help would be appreciated. > Thanks,April Trunick >

I would also appreciate any help you might provide with locating an obituary record for either my aunt or uncle so that I might locate their children. Freda Carroll (maiden name Berrer) 17 March 1893 to April 1977 (I attended her funeral) & Joseph Carroll 22 Aug 1890 to Dec 1966 If related, please email me. Thank you. Don Teesdale

    3. I tried to send you a reply to your question, but you have your anti-spamming program on and the answer to your question came back non-deliverable. Hahaha worm does not need to be sent as an attachment. Once on your hard drive it searches for message lists and can mail itself, it also can update itself from the Internet. So once yo send it out, and you wont know you have it, it can be sent to another person without your knowing it. That's how it was sent from one person on this list to me. It arrived as a separate message. It means someone on this list has an infected computer and sends it out each time the send a message, it could even be mine and the worm is sending itself back to me. Doyle Sanders Tulsa, OK

    2. Doyle Sanders
    3. Please be advised that when you pass on these virus warnings, you have just passed it on to everyone on the list. This is the 6th time I have received this virus and it is always attached to to someone's E-mail and always from someone on a list of some sort. This is why most lists don't want you to post virus warnings. When you get this virus, don't E-mail everyone on the list warning them, this just spreads it. My last Hahaha virus was sent by Robert, while this is not Robert's fault, the designer of this virus has this exactly in mind.

    2. Janet Deck
    3. Dear List, I am looking for any information on my gg grandparents: George Carroll b. c 1790 in Ireland and Mary Unknown Carroll b. c 1798 in North Carolina. Have only found them in 1850 census of Campbell County, TN with children: ELVIRA b. 1823 NC, WILLIAM b. 1827 TN, LUISA b. 1833 TN, ELIZABETH b. 1839 TN and PHILLIP b. 1841 TN. George was 60 at time of this census, so I am sure there were other children. Based on William's birth, this family would have been in TN by 1827. Elizabeth, my ggrandmother m. Clinton Pierce in 1866 and they remained in Campbell/Claiborne Counties,TN. William, I believe, married Mary Monday. He was killed during the War leaving Mary with children Harriet Melviney, Samuel, Mary Elvirey, Jordan and Margaret. They are in 1860 Claiborne County TN census. Looking forward to hearing from someone! _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com

Many Carroll/Carrell families migrated from NC to GA. >> Also for Larry - Lura is right, I found this one in the "History of Sumter Co, GA" by Jack Frank Cox, on page 161: from Deed Record - B- Sumter County, Georgia Habersham-17 July 1833 - ADAM PITNER to BEN B. SMITH Lot No. 160, 27th district. Witt: HARPER HAYNES & DAVID P. WALKER & ELISHA CARROLL, J.P. Sumter Co, Georgia is in South GA, was founded from part of Lee County, Georgia in 1831, was spelled Sumpter at that time. Americus is the Co. seat. Better known now as the home county of former President of US, Jimmy Carter of Plains, Sumter Co, GA. Also, Larry, my MARGARET (CARROLL) b 1799 Duplin Co, NC mar WILLIAM LAMB (1783 New Hanover Co, NC) & moved from NC down into GA sometime between 1846 & 1850. She & her husb & children, were accompanied by 2 of her bros, JESSE CARROLL & JAMES CARROLL - these all ended up in Berrien Co, GA. Maybe that will help some.... Also, there were CARROLLs on the west side of the state of Georgia - as there is a town named CARROLLTON, (GA) I believe this was named for some CARROLLs, but am not sure. I am not familiar with that line at all - maybe someone else has some info on these.... Good luck, Sarah Howell Studstill
