Ralph, Now I hope someone can find John Wesley and Mary Elizabeth for you. Just one finger in the wrong place on the keyboard can make a difference, can't it? We know that some CARROLL families from Sampson County, NC went to AL around 1800-1810 but I don't know much about them. The DNA tests confirm this connection. If there is a man with the CARROLL surname in your known family, you might could make a positive connection to a family group that way by sending a DNA sample to FamilyTreeDNA at http://www.familytreedna.com/group-join.aspx?Group=Carroll The Sampson Men are shown in the large orange section of the CARROLL Project chart at http://www.childtalk.com/History/carrollfamilydnavalues.pdf Lura .............................................................................................. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ralph Pyle" <ralph34@bellsouth.net> To: <CARROLL@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, April 16, 2009 12:35 PM Subject: [CARROLL] carroll | Hi | | This is a new letter on the people as I made some mistake on the other one. | | I am looking for information on John Wesley Carroll, born 1856 and died 1929 in Pell City, Ala.
