    3. Researchers, Mary J. CARRICO, the dau of Alexander CARRICO, the grandaughter of John Conley CARRICO, was born Abt. 1857 in Macoupin County, Illinois. I lost track of her after 1870. Does anyone have her in their line? Alternatively, does anyone have a marriage for Alexander CARRICO to anyone in Illinois between 1845 and 1860? (Probably nearer to 1854.) In 1864, the father of Mary J. CARRICO, Alexander CARRICO, married my great grandmother, Cassandra Margaret SMITH and had Laura Ann CARRICO, (1865 - 1948), who married George Leon DeBourney WHITE (1860 - 1917); John Alexander CARRICO, (1868 - 1931), who married Clara M. DEGROFF (1867 - 1948); and Sarah Emma Elizabeth CARRICO, (1874 - 1952), who married John C. BOTTIMER. Alexander CARRICO died 1874 and Cassandra Margaret SMITH married Josiah Goodson HARLAN (1837 - 1880), April 10, 1877 and had Cassandra Josephine HARLAN (1879 - 1880). According to the Carlinville Democrat for Thursday, September 10, 1874, "Mr. Alexander Carrico, who lived three miles east of town, after returning home from town Friday evening in getting out of his buggy stumbled over a can and fell to the ground striking on his head and breaking his spinal column. He died in a few hours. He was born in 1816." I would appreciate very much any additional knowledge of Mary J. CARRICO or family. John D.
