Having just discovered a major breakthru I thought I would give this a shot. I discovered my grandmother had a younger sister who is still alive!! My grandmother's death certificate indicates her mother was Mary Carrico and father was Stephen Wilcox. My grandaunt informs me that Mary's father was Andrew Winton Carrico. My grandmother was born in 1891. I have no idea when Stephen and Mary married or where they were married. Stephen died in a Methodist retirement home for retired Methodist ministers late 1950s or early 1960s. Mary died before him but I have no idea when. I do not know when Stephen and Mary got married. I have been told that he was a farmer in Friese, VA. My grandaunt tells me they left VA in abt 1904 to move to IL where Stephen became a Methodist minister.
