Sharon Brahmstadt: Is this William Carrico a sibling of George G. Carrico (1796-1858) who m. Elizabeth Cissell in 1817 in Washington Co, KY? This George died in Loogootee, IN. They had a son, George H Carrico m. Mary Ann (Polly Summers) second wife, and he had one son with Elizabeth (Burris) and 17 with Polly. Their 8th was a William Carrico, and their 5th was Mary Ellen (Carrico) 1867-1921 m. Joseph Allen McCord 1860-1938, my great grandparents. Joseph Allen McCord died in Kansas City after he was struck by a police car. The obituary sounds like he didn't see the car. Let me know if you have names of your William's siblings.
