Dear Carrico researchers, After a very long search, I have finally found information concerning William B. Carrico 1782-1857 from Carol Ann Gerber who is also descended from John H. Carrico, the son of William B. Her email address is CG111111@aol.com Carol Ann has a family Bible and William B. Carrico's War of 1812 record. In addition she has all the church records from St. Peter's Catholic Church in Washington, DC. William B. Carrico and his wife were active member of St. Peter's from its founding in 1821 until 1899. These records were very helpful. Carol has sent me copies of this information and I would be glad to share it with anyone who is researching this line. My postal address is Sharon H. Brahmstadt- 1422 Garfield Ave.- Wyomissing, Pennsylvania 19610-2414. E- mail address is Brahmstadt@aol.com William B. Carrico's first marriage as recorded in the family Bible takes place in 1808 to Sarah Moore Berry. We do not know where this marriage occurs or anything else about Sarah Moore Berry. We are trying to trace that now. William B. Carrico serves in the War of 1812 from July 1814 through Oct 8, 1814 in Capt. William Dougherty's Co. D.C. Militia. Records for service, widow's pension and bounty land are at National Archives. I have a copy and am willing to share with anyone interested. Most of the Carrico research has been on those who LEFT the area. Little has been done on those who stayed or remained in the vicinity of Maryland/ DC. I am willing to help support and share information with anyone else who has an interest in this branch of the family. Sincerely, Sharon H. Brahmstadt
