Folks, I purchased a copy of Eckford de Kays book a couple years ago trying to rule out or rule in a connection between my elusive Orange Co NY ancestor, Moses Carpenter and Michael DeKay, whose name appears with Moses on a deed. Anyway, I could make no connection; however, revisiting the book today and comparing the names with the listed names in AB Carpenter's Carpenter Memorial, I find no listings that are in the DeKay book, so decided to share what I have with the list: JOHN L.
