I am looking for the parents of Elizabth Carpenter. born, 6 Mar 1767, died 8 Sep 1848. She is buried in Alsey Cemetery, Scott County, Illinois. She probably born in VA. She married John Ash, 12 Feb 1787, Frederick County, Virginia. They had at least one daughter, Nancy (she was probably born in VA , 6 Jun 1788 --she married Jacob Bower). They also lived in KY in the early 1800's. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks, Barbara
