I hope that someone on the list can help me with information regarding my Carpenter family Here is what I know of the Carpenter which is very little. James Carpenter- I think that he came from Sneedville, TN to Clay County, KY around 1880. My great grandfather was his son George Brownlow . George was born in TN and came to KY when he was about 10 years old.. George Brownlow was married to Hannah Lipps Carpenter in Clay County. My grandfather was the son of Hannah and George. His name was Evon Carpenter he was born in Clay County I think in March 1900. He married Lula Blaine Smith. My father is the son of Evon and Lula his name is James. I am the daughter of James Carpenter which my name is Sandra. Any help would be appreciated Thanks, Sandy Muncy
