To Robin Carpenter - In a year 2000 "Carpenter Chronicles' is published your transcription of the 1732 will of John Carpenter in which he gives his musket and sword to his son John in Goshen. Do you know which John is that son who received the musket and sword. I am once again in my perpetual puzzlement over the many John Carpenters. I would like to know where the John Carpenter who married Ruth Coe fits in the puzzle. According to Amos in the additions and corrections in his book they were married somewhere in 1735. Is there a will for the John Carpenter who received the musket and sword? Did he have a son John? Help!! Margaret Cass
