    3. Hi, A generous cousin, Ginger, shared an copy of a land deed still in possession of descendants. This deed is a sale To: Asseneath DISON (wife or mother of Thomas B. DISON) From: Warren & Sarah CARPENTER Recorder: William W. WILKINS Does anyone know of a connection between the DISONs and the CARPENTERs ? ********STATE OF ALABAMA TALLADEGA COUNTY This indenture made and entered into this 3rd day of November 1952 Between Warren CARPENTER and Sarah, his wife of said state and county of the first and Asseneth DISON of Randolph County and state of Alabama of the second part that Warren and Sarah CARPENTER his wife has this day sold unto Asseneath DISON a certain tract or parcel of land known and distinguished by the S1/2 SE1/4 Sect 6 Township 18 R13 in Randolph County and of foresaid state containing 80 acres for the sum of $400 to them in hand paid before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt where of is here of acknowleged and the said Warren Carpenter and Sarah his wife does bind themselves, their heirs, exactrars and administrators and assign to warrant and defend the title to the above described land unto Asseneath DISON "her" heirs exactorators administrators and assigns the said Warren Carpenter and Sarah his wife will forever warrant and defend claims against themselves to the above primes(?) or the claims of any person or persons or the claims of the United States unto the said Asseneath DISON her heirs and extratory administrators and assigns.
