I have information on what volumes, etc. wills are located in that might have information on my family. What I don't know is how to locate these volumes! Is this something the County Clerk for Madison County would have in their archives? This is the info I have: PROBATE: Index to Testators, Volume M (1867-1870); Madison County, New York CARPENTER, GEORGE S. NELSON M-379 CARPENTER, WILLIAM NELSON M-241 PROBATE: Index to Testators, Volume O (1872-1873); Madison County, New York CARPENTER,NANCY NELSON O-121 Any help in locating these actual documents, online or via "snail" mail, will be much appreciated.
