    3. The surrogate court has the wills. Check with the Madison County Surrogate Court to find out if they charge the $90 fee to locate the will for you. If they do, it would probably be cheaper to find someone who would be willing to go to the court house for you and locate the will. Here is the genweb site link for Madison County, NY.
