    3. Hello Carpenters & Zimmermans, Here it is 2008 and I'm 9 days into my new years resolutions. Are you still searching from on top of a brick wall? Balancing is really tough and you're about ready to fall! Here it is two thousand and eight, Could DNA testing be your fate? Is your last name spelled CARPENTER? Zimmerman or even Charpentier Look no more, if your ancestor came to the U.S. in 1732 Y-DNA test results could be just right for you. When you have your Y-DNA tested, then you're leading the pack, You could prove your ancestry to 1572 or even farther back. What will it cost for DNA testing, you say, A lot less than a trip to Boston or even LA. Today, is the first day of the rest of your genealogical life to research, Without DNA, next year, will you still be uncertain and sitting on your perch? O.K., Now you are just about ready to cry, Go log onto FTDNA.COM and say Hi. Here is how you do it! Enter www.ftdna.com Select Surname Projects or just Projects, for Carpenter, Select C345 The Select Carpenter Cousins, then select members.cox.net/johncarpenter/index.htm Now you are looking at the CARPENTER COUSINS Y-DNA PROJECT, read, look around and digest. When you are tested you are given a number, no one else will know unless YOU tell them. NOW! look at the groups, do you see your area? You could fit into one of these groups and extend your family history back a few generations and maybe even help someone else do the same. All of this for a night out on the town. You can't beat it! Really interested? Go back to members.cox.net/johncarpenter/index.htm, then go to the bottom of the page and fill out the request for DNA testing. RECOMMEND: Y-DNA25 Happy New Year, and best of all Happy Ancestor Hunting! Bob Carpenter
