Please pardon my interruption , I am from Georgia, my ancestor is Bailey Carpenter 1765-1834, he was for many years believed to be the brother of Stephen Cullis Carpenter, Stephen is listed in the SC Archives in the 1700's . Sandra Carpenter Jay went to the Ga Archives and copied the bibles of the Carpenters inside written somewhere in the late 1700's it states that the Carpenters were French.Is anyone working on the Georgia Carpenters.?
