On a poor copy of an 1863 map, there is a house next to a canal. I believe it was a stopping place for the canal men. There is a three letter abbreviation before the owners name. It looks like "Hrs" of (owner's name). Elsewhere the houses have only the owners name. A hotel also elsewhere is only labeled "Hotel". Any guesses as to what "Hrs" might mean? Jessie
