Dear Carpenters, After a year of searching, I have found the name of my greatgrandfather. Not as exciting as research back into the 1200's but quite a breakthrough for me. Does anyone have information on J.C. Carpenter (married to Anna E. Watkins) circa 1850 living in Tioga Center, New York. He was a farmer. That's all the information I have so far.
