I would not represent that there are no other wills of either Carpenters or in which the Carpenter name may be mentioned. These represent the vast majority, if not all of the wills in that series. I am no expert on NY wills. I know that there are some earlier wills, including some Carpenter wills in the book, Long Island Source Records, and I have seen other very wills not in this series also.
