In searching for my Carpenter's I checked what LDS had on the "supposed"line and proved it to be wrong. But in my reserch I came across this Carpenter family that were amonf the first settlers in Groton, Tompkins Co., NY. I thought I would post it as it may help someone . Ruel was an artist and they have a portrait he did of his youngest sister they believe.
