Is this value enough for a small plantation?? 1863 Military Tax Lists only a John W. Carpenter so probably is his name. 1870 De Soto Co believe that the following is his wife and new husband. Cass's father Riley Crow married his second wife Elizabeth Johnson in Carroll County 1/17/1878. Believe that J.G. Worrell and Mary may have moved to Caroll County after 1870. Have not been able to match my James W. Carpenter who married Cassana with any Carrol County Carpenters. Am new to this so any leads appreciated.
