I assume that you are refering to my post earlier this morning regarding John Carpenter. It's possible. All my info is from the 1870 MN Census and George could have moved prior to that time. The oldest Child that I have is William and he was born in Feb 1848. My wife's relation is the Clara Emilly Carpenter (Twin) born 13 Dec 1866.
