Many thanks to the 7 people who contributed valuable information in regard to my Rehoboth question ! I have nothing to offer on my Carpenter line -- simply haven't researched that line yet -- only know Eunice Carpenter, b. 1774 in Massachusetts, m. John Preston who was born in Vermont, moved to Michigan (and it appeared to be a very slow move with stops along the way), settled in the area of Blissfield (between 1820 & 1830), Lenawee Co., MI, and both are buried in Blissfield Cemetery. The Prestons all had huge families -- began a reunion in the 1890's which still meets in MI each July. I am glad to share any info. I have on any of my lines. I have cancer and can't do much traveling any more. None of my 9 kids are serious about genealogy (the last one graduates from high school next month -- yippeee!), so sharing by means of the computer seems to be the answer. If I gain some info., that is nice, but my first purpose is sharing. Some of my surnames are well researched and documented; on others I have little information. My surnames are: Archer, Bair, Bemis, Carpenter, Carrick, Chrysler, Comer, Cramer, Culp, Dixon, Esling, Handschey, Hopkins (Mayflower line), Hunter, Jarvis, Johns, Kleinhenn/Kline (various spellings), McCauley (various spellings), Monks, Patterson, Porter, Preston, Ray, Seitz, Simons, Simpson, Slee, Spitler, Wise.
