John Carpenter in LaMesa CA sent me the important data re. Marden Robert Carpenter's William, who it turns out was likewise a Marden resident. This makes my contribution less than earth- shaking. However, John's data underlines the possibility that Marden Thomas Carpenter was Williams brother and Robert's uncle, and thus increasing the credibility of the data prior and after the individuals in question. The links in this data always seemed weak to me. However now I am beginning to see for myself there is truly much to it. BC
