Obviously I missed John's earlier post regarding International Money Orders, so I may be off target on the original subject, and if so, my apologies. I'm a postal clerk, and the USPS sells International Postal Money Orders for the face value (US$) plus a $3.00 fee for many countries; some countries are $5.00. The post office does NOT compute the exchange rate, but that information is available in most major newspapers (Finance Section). Hope this helps.
