Boy, I left for a week with an empty mail box and returned to about 100 messages. Since there is so much traffic on the Carpenter list I think I'll see if anyone can help me with my question. In the following outline, most of the info has come from the AB Carpenter book in one form or another. In that book Gilbert is listed with 7 children. When I was given our family line years ago William had been added to that list of children making him #8. The references given to me were not specific as to which source put William in this family. Do any of you have anything on this family? I left out the dates of death in order to shorten the outline.
