Hi Donna: I would be interested in knowing which Carpenter's (other than the ones mentioned) are connected to your Cantrell line. My great-grandmother was a Cantrell from Stephenson County, Illinois. Her daughter, my grandmother married a Carpenter from Black Earth, Dane County, Wisconsin.
