I am looking for information on a Jacob Carpenter that married Mary Ann Hobbs. I don't know where he is from or when he was born. He might be the one I have found in Washington Co. Ms in 1805. Supposedly they have a son Lewis Hobbs Carpenter that is found in E. Baton Rouge La. in the mid 1800's. Sorry I don't have more on this family, I just have come across them and have not found much on them yet. Thanks for any help, Carol
