Is there any one out there searching Carpenters in Louisiana East Baton Rouge Parish. I've seen lots of Northern Carpenters. Looking for information on Philip Carpenter 's parents. Philip married Eliza J McCulloch 1852 in East Baton Rouge Parish. Philip is head of household in 1850 census. It appears that he is the oldest male in the family at that time.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Margaret Whitehead
