Charlotte, most of us are just like you and in the year I've been on the list I have made two good connections that I couldn't have found any other way for a family that left very few tracks. I'm looking for any info about Samuel Carpenter who married Jean Hundley in Amelia County, VA in 1795, was in Nottoway County in 1810, and married Nancy Stone in Mecklenburg County in 1815. He died between 1816 and 1818 in Mecklenburg County. Any little tidbit of information or speculation would help.
