I have searched for any information on the above Carpenter family for years. Sammy Lee Carpenter (b. abt 1885 in Lewisville, Denton County,Texas; d 1945 Lewisville; buried Ritter Cemetery), son of John W. Carpenter (died before 1890) in Ellis County, Texas. Sammy Lee married Allie Mae Cooke (extensive documentation on the Cookes). Their children are Janice , Rhuedell, Dewanne, Woodrow Weston, Geneva Lee, James Conrad, Donna Lou, Bobby Randall, and Gerald Dewayne Carpenter. John W. married Carrie Mae Graham (b. 9 Sep 1867; d. 20 Jul 1949 in Collin County, Texas ). Carrie married a Hutton after my great grandfather's death. She is buried at Plano Mutual Cemetary in Plano, Texas. I would appreciate anything on this family!
